Brief Description: Triangular tin containing cheese biscuits, lettering and illustration of biscuits on red background
Subject Date: 1955
Creator: William Mundy, Huntley, Boorne & Stevens
Publisher: Huntley & Palmers

Full Description: Despite the end of the Second World War in 1945, it was not until 1950 that decorated tin production recommenced on a large scale. However from that period onwards tins were more conventional in shape and it became increasingly common to have the manufacturers name on the tin. This Cheesals tin illustrates the modern designs that appeared after the Second World War.
