Brief Description: Round tin with Kate Greenaway illustration on the lid of a tea party in a summer garden. No.MD 1821/2920
Subject Date: 1980
Creator: Huntley, Boorne & Stevens, Mick Hill
Publisher: Huntley & Palmers

Full Description: This tin embarrassed Associated Biscuits when a vigilant grocer noticed rude images hidden in the shrubbery which had been added by a mischievous freelance designer Mick Hill. Although production of the tin was stopped, the marketing opportunity was not missed and the tin was reissued without the rude images. Hill also added naughty images to other tin designs including 'Cocktail Barrel', in which a gentleman offers a lady a spliff!
