Full Description: A Biscuit Week was held to promote Huntley & Palmers sales in the Reading area. The Biscuit Week was also organised to illustrate how towns could deal with their own unemployment problems. At the opening women workers released armfuls of balloons. A label was attached to each balloon. Anyone returning the labels received a free tin of biscuits.
