Brief Description: A plastercast relief of two children in pierrot costume enjoying the company's biscuits. With a moulded art nouveau style frame
Subject Date: 1920s
Publisher: Huntley & Palmers

Full Description: Despite the increased spend by British consumers on biscuits after the First World War, Huntley & Palmers sales did not expand by the same amount. They were forced to reconsider their advertising expenditure and made the decision to increase the annual spend by £40,000. This image was re-used nearly 60 years later on the lid of a biscuit tin.
