Full Description: An extract from the staff magazine "First Name News" in September 1958 describes the skills necessary to be a factory guide: 'The welding of individuals into a friendly group of people united in interest was part of the skill of an experienced guide. A tour was aimed at arousing in visitors a keener desire for biscuits of real quality and that an enjoyable visit would long remain a warm memory.'
