Full Description: The scheme information from 1959 stated that employees were excluded from the scheme's benefits if they were absent from work as a result of: childbirth or pregnancy, or the result or consequence thereof; any accident or illness due wholly or partly to the member being affected (temporarily or otherwise) by any drug, intoxicating liquor, venereal disease, insanity or attempting to commit suicide.
