Brief Description: Huntley & Palmers advert for Cornish Wafers, with the slogan 'From Lands End to John O'Groats'
Subject Date: 1920s or 1930s
Publisher: Huntley & Palmers

Full Description: Despite the increased spend by British consumers on biscuits after the First World War, Huntley & Palmers sales did not expand by the same amount. They were forced to reconsider their advertising expenditure and this was increased by £40,000. By 1954 the Cornish Wafer was Huntley & Palmers best-selling biscuit.
