Full Description: The Queen Mother visited the Huntley & Palmers factory on Wednesday 26 October 1955. Whilst there she inspected replicas of her own and her daughter's, Queen Elizabeth II's, wedding cakes and admired the skill of Jack Bryant who piped a swan, a kangaroo and a thistle in white icing for her. Outside the factory she was cheered loudly by members of Huntley & Palmers staff and she accepted a bunch of flowers from Sarah Werrell, an employee.
