Brief Description: A colour photograph of the elaborate brick patterning on 89 Coventry Street
Subject Date: 1980 - 1985
Creator: Jim Harold

Full Description: Coventry Street is in the Newtown area of Reading, which was the home to many of the Huntley & Palmers workers during the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. Many of the houses in the area are decorated with extremely complex brick patterning, such as the example shown here, even though the housing was for relatively humble workers.
