Brief Description: Foil wrapping paper in various designs for 1d biscuits
Subject Date: 1933
Publisher: Huntley & Palmers

Full Description: In mid-1933 the large biscuit manufacturers forced through a substantial reduction in prices at their trade association. Many cheaper and lower quality manufacturers, such as Serpell's in Reading, were not trade association members and had driven down prices eating into Huntley and Palmer's home market. These 1d biscuits were an attempt by Huntley & Palmers to regain their market share.
