Full Description: This view from the towpath of the Kennet and Avon Canal shows the new offices on King's Road that opened in 1937. In the foreground is the worker's park that was originally bought by Huntley & Palmers as the site for an employees' social centre. You can see a trolley bus heading towards the town centre - these had replaced electric trams on the King's Road in 1939.
