Brief Description: Sonning Mill on the River Thames near Reading

Full Description: Sonning Mill was located 2 miles away from the Reading factory along the River Thames. It was one of the many local corn mills that supplied high quality flour to George Palmer's new biscuit manufactory. The factory was ideally situated adjacent to the Kennet and Avon canal enabling the flour to be brought by barge.
