Berkshire Record Office
Berkshire Record Office (BRO) was established in 1948 to locate and preserve records relating to the county of Berkshire and its people and to make them available for research to anyone who is interested in the county's past. Working with the BRO has enabled the digitisation of insurance maps relating to Huntley & Palmers and the deeds of partnership from 1841 and 1857.

With a special thanks to
Mr Michael Paxton OBE TD
Mr Paxton worked at Huntley & Palmers from 1955 until the early 1980s during which time he held a number of roles including that of Public Relations Manager. He has been an invaluable source of information throughout this project, providing a wealth of detail to add to many of the photographs from the collection.
